Hi, my name is Joanna Cadis. Right now, I’m building an online business that gives me the freedom to work from anywhere. But it wasn’t always like this.

I was working in the corporate world in Vancouver, Canada, and I couldn’t stand the thought of someone else raising my son while I was stuck at a desk.

So, I quit and made the decision to became an entrepreneur and business owner.

Before I knew it, I was running a one woman factory, handling everything from designing to production, packing, and all the admin that comes with being a solo entrepreneur in the handmade world. Money was coming in, but it drained my energy, sucked the joy out of me, and kept me away from my family.

In 2019, a friend introduced me to a different business model and I thought, why not? I’ll give it a try. I started it on the side, and when the time felt right, I went all in.

I fell in love with what the company stands for—the vision, the mission, and most of all, the lifestyle it made possible.

That ended up being the game changer. It gave me the freedom to walk away from my handmade business, close my shop, and finally live life on my own terms.

Now, I work a few focused hours a day and spend the rest of my time on what matters most. I’m fully present for my family. I feel free, finally!

And here’s what I’ve learned: You don’t build freedom by doing more of what’s draining you. You build it by choosing differently.

Moral of the story? If you want more out of life, listen to people who’ve done it, and get ready to move fast...
